It is distinct from other types of beef jerky due to the Angus Ribeye cut's higher fat content, which provides a crisp yet buttery, "melt in your mouth" flavor and texture!!
- Sourcing the meat: Beef Ribeye is a primal cut, located along the cow's back between the chuck (shoulder) and the loin, specifically from the area of the 6th to 12th ribs. This section of the animal's rib cage is known for its high concentration of intramuscular fat, or marbling, which contributes to the steak's signature juiciness, tenderness, and bold flavor during the long, slow drying process to produce a tender texture. Our Angus Beef is sourced from USDA inspected producers focued on regenerative Farm & Ranch operations throughout the United States. We Only use 100% American grass-fed and finished Angus beef.
- Dehydration: Our staff dries the meat at a low temperature for several hours in a commercial kitchen unsing commercial dehydrators until it reaches the perfect "melt in your mouth & crisp like a chip texture!!"
- Packaging: Once dried, and quality control inspections are completed, Cattle Drive Carnivore Snacks are packaged in airtight, high-barrier pouches, with oxygen absorber packets to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness, then heat sealed. Finally it is placed in a crush proof shipping box for transit from our facility to your home!!
